Kitchenaid Stand Mixer Makeover / Kitchenaid Stand Mikser Süsleme

I am actually obsessed with the colours and the style of the Kitchenaid stand mixers. So one of the first things that i bought for my future house was a bright pink Kitchenaid :) 

On day when we went to a mall with my mum we came across a really good sale on the Kitchenaid Mixers (nearly the half price of what i paid) The only problem was that it was white. That moment i told my mum i had some great ideas for decorating it and make it prettier :) so we brought it home. We went to the closest stationary store and bought round stickers and went crazy with it. This is how it looks now. 

Kitchenaid mikserlerin renklerine ve stiline bayiliyorum. Bu yuzden ceyizim icin aldigim ilk seylerden biri canli pembe bir Kitchenaid olmustu :)

Bir gun annemle alisveris merkezlerinden birinde dolasirken Kitchenaid mikserlerde cok iyi bir indirime (benim aldigim fiyatin nerderyse yarisina) denk geldik. Tek sorun mikserin beyaz olmasiydi. O anda anneme mikseri suslemek icin birkac fikrim oldugunu soyledim ve biz mikserle birlikte evimize döndük. Bize en yakin kirtasiyeden yuvarlak stickerlar alip kendimizi kaptirdik. Mikserimiz suanda böyle görünüyor :) 

DIY Cushion with felt Nesting Dolls / Matruskali Kirlent Dikimi

Hello again :)

It's been a really long time i know. I've been busy trying to get used to the school routine. Meanwhile I had couple of projects that i've done but i couldn't have time to put them on my blog. 

This is a DIY cushion that i've done for my future living room because i thought it would go well with a red sofa that i want.

Çok uzun zaman oldu biliyorum. Okul duzenine alismaya calismakla mesguldum. Bu arada gerceklestirdigim birkac projem oldu ama maalesef bloguma henuz yukleyemedim. 

Bu proje gelecekteki evim icin istedigim kirmizi koltuguma yakisacagini dusundugum matruskali bir kirlent.

I cut 3pieces of fabric, which are 50x50 , 20x50, 30x50

50x50 , 20x50, 30x50 boyutlarinda uc farkli kumas parcasi kestim

This is how it looks when i sewed all the pieces together.

Butun parcalari birlestirip diktikten sonra kirlentim boyle gorunuyor.

These are the cute nesting dolls that i prepared :)

Bunlar ise daha onceden hazirladim sirim matruskalarim :)

I added 2 ribbons at the back of the cushion.

Kirlentin arkasina ise iki tane kurdale ekledim.

Polka Dot Shoes/ Puantiyeli Ayakkabılar

  
I think i've mentioned before that i love polka dots :) I think it looks really cute on everything from objects to clothing, nails, cookies, bags and of course shoes!

Sanırım daha önce de puantiyeleri çok sevdiğimden bahsetmiştim :) Bence objelerden tutun da kıyafete, tırnaklara, kurabiyelere, çantalara ve tabii ki de ayakkabılara çook yakışıyor! 







Sooo i suddenly decided that i wanted polka dot shoes (In the middle of the night!) I had these sneakers that i bought for 25tl from a cheap store. They needed some decoration :) check what happened....

Bu yüzdeen (gecenin bir yarısı!) puantiyeli ayakkabılar istediğime karar verdim. Daha önceden 25tl'ye ucuz bir ayakkabıcıdan aldığım spor ayakkabılara göz diktim. Biraz süslemeye ihtiyaçları vardı :) Bakın neler oldu...

Hi Everyone!
It's been a long time since i uploaded my last post. I was really busy with relaxing and doing nothing at home :) Anyway two weeks ago it was one of my friend's birthday. We both have the same taste and i knew that she would have liked whatever i buy :) But still, i didn't want to buy her a gift from a store, i wanted to give her something special this time. I think, if you want to make someone feel special about themselves, you have to put some effort in it maybe by making the gift yourself ,instead of just buying it from a store. So lets check what i did :)  (By the way i also decorated the jar :) )

Blogumda yazı yayınlamayalı uzun zaman oldu. Evde hiçbirşey yapmadan boş boş oturup stres atmakla meşguldüm :) Yaklaşık iki hafta önce bir arkadaşımın doğum günüydü. İkimizin de zevkleri aynı olduğu için ona ne alsam beğenicekti :) ama ben gidip bir ağazadan birşey almak yerine bu sefer sadece ona özel bir hediye vermek istedim. (Bu arada kavanozu da ben süsledim :) )

DIY Painted Jar / Cam Kavanoz Boyama

As you can see from my homepage i love polka dots, especially with pastel colours. I wanted to buy cookie jars for the kitchen but i couldn't find the jars i was thinking of, sooo i decided to make my own cookie jars. I bought plain jars from a store (Paşabahçe), four Plaid Glass Paint, polka dot stencil and white polka dot ribbons. The big cookie jars were painted from outside while the other three small ones were painted from the inside. As you can see when you paint it from the inside you get a nice glossy finish. Plaid paint dries quickly and it is really easy to do it at home. I'm really pleased with the result, i hope you like it too =)

Anasayfam da anlaşılacağı gibi puantiyeleri çok seviyorum, özellikle de pastel renkli olanlarını. Mutfağımıza koyabilmek için kurabiye kavanozu arayışına girdim ama kafamdaki gibi istediğim kavanozları bulamadım bu yüzden de kendi kurabiye kavanozlarımı yapmaya karar verdim. Paşabahçe'nin cam kavanozlarından, dört farklı cam seramik boyası, puantiye stencil ve beyaz puantiyeli kurdeleler satın aldım. Büyük kavanozları dışından küçük cam kapakları ise içinden boyadım. Resimde de görülebildiği gibi camlar içinden boyandığı zaman daha parlak bi görünüme sahip oluyorlar. Plaid Cam Boyası yada Enamel oldukça hızlı kuruyan ve evde uygulaması çok kolay bir boya. Sonuç beni çok memnun etti, umarım siz de beğenmişsinizdir =)
